Last week, we were delighted to host a Celebration and Networking event to mark the completion of the latest cohort of our Employment and Skills Programme.
This event is always a highlight in our calendar, bringing together fantastic organisations, partners, and individuals to celebrate the achievements of the young people who have successfully completed the programme. Their dedication and effort over the past 12 weeks has been truly inspiring.
During the programme, participants completed:
- Five weeks of practical skills development workshops
- Ten days of meaningful work experience
- Twelve weeks of one-to-one mentoring
Each young person has made remarkable progress, growing in confidence, capability, and professionalism. We are immensely proud of how far they have come and are excited to see how they continue their journeys into meaningful employment and future opportunities.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended the event, including our work placement hosts, volunteer mentors, and opportunity providers. Their willingness to connect with our young people, share insights, and discuss potential next steps plays a vital role in the success of the programme. This work would not be possible without their generosity, encouragement, and continued support.
