Ablaze is delighted to announce that it has been awarded £30,000 from Postcode Local Trust, over three years, thanks to funds raised by Postcode Lottery players.

The funding will enable Ablaze to continue its mission to address inequality of opportunity for young people across the West of England. Ablaze works with schools, businesses and community partners, to support young people aged 7 – 25 years old, with reading, numeracy, careers development and work placements to develop skills, confidence, and aspirations for their future.

The three-year funding will provide valuable stability, enabling Ablaze to strengthen our operations and sustain programmes that connect young people with employers, mentors, and volunteers. This grant will help ensure Ablaze can continue responding to the needs of young people who, through no fault of their own, often face barriers to opportunity.

We are incredibly grateful to Postcode Local Trust and Postcode Lottery players for this funding award. Flexible funding is vital for charities like Ablaze, allowing us to maintain the strong foundations that make our work possible. At a time when many young people face significant challenges, this investment in our organisation will have a lasting impact across the region.

As demand for support continues to grow, this funding comes at a crucial time for Ablaze. The grant will help ensure that we can continue delivering high-quality programmes that equip young people with the confidence and connections they need to succeed.

Thank you to Postcode Lottery players for making this possible.
