Following a successful Primary Career Fair at St Werburgh's Primary School, Civil Service Local staff have been working with Year 6 pupils for two weeks running Business Skills Workshops and delivering a series of career talks. The Highways Agency asked the Year 6 pupils to visualise what they would like to see for themselves in 2-3 years time and to: i) illustrate their vision for themselves in a drawing; ii) discuss how energy & emotions could make them more, or less, effective in their goals and iii) complete a communication exercise.  Staff from across the Civil Service talked about their own careers and how school helped them be what they are today.  Garry Packer (Highways England) said: "The children were really interested in hearing about my career and asked some very interesting questions.  They also tackled the exercises with energy and there was a real buzz in the classroom. Many thanks go to everyone involved in making the Business Skills Workshops so inspiring and such a huge success!
