Ilminster Avenue E-Act Academy and CMS Cameron McKenna

CMS Cameron McKenna have been partners of Ilminster Avenue E-Act Academy through Ablaze since 2010 and currently 20 members of their staff support 14 students as Reading Buddies. Mentoring students in the board room of TLT Solicitors

Get up, get dressed, go to the office.  Standard day for some - it’s now a reality for a group of Y9 students at Bridge Learning Campus. 25 students have been taking part in mentoring sessions with staff of TLT solicitors in their offices at 1 Redcliff Street. 

The sessions set by Ablaze in conjunction with TLT have been a huge success.

Campaign to end shameful 'reading gap' in Primary Schools

Around 1.5 million children will leave primary school struggling to read by 2025 unless urgent action is taken, according to new research published by a campaign group set up to eradicate illiteracy.The report published by Save the Children, on behalf of the Read On Get On campaign, shows that England is one of the most unequal countries in Europe when it comes to children's reading.
